Graduate Studies
The Centre of Public Health Sciences coordinates a variety of graduate programs at the University of Iceland.
Interdisciplinary study programs in Public Health Sciences, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics, are coordinated at the Centre of Public Health Sciences. Each subject has a study board, composed of representatives from faculties across the university.
Our programs are designed to meet the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and career goals, focused on either professional practice or research and academia. There is flexibility for students to shape their learning experience to match their own interests and aspirations.
Since the centre´s establishment in 2007, over 140 master’s and doctoral level students have graduated from our programs, and as many have completed a postgraduate diploma program in public health sciences.
